Criteria for Eligibility
- An associate is someone who is currently pursuing registration under their regulatory board, is under supervision, and has completed their academic program. (Submit documentation regarding post-degree status: e.g., Associate membership with a recognized regulatory body in Canada; post-graduate program)
- Graduate degree from a clinical mental healthcare discipline. (Submit a copy of your degree).
- Proof of EMDRIA-Approved Basic EMDR Training (Part 1 & 2). (Submit a copy of your Basic Training Certificate)
- Each qualifying Associate membership will be given three years to complete registration requirements to become a licensed mental health professional, and then would be considered Professional members within EMDR Canada providing they meet all criteria.

Criteria for Eligibility
- Is retired from active mental health (5 or fewer clients per week)
- Is 65 years of age or more
- Has been EMDR Canada member for five or more years (need not be consecutive)
