Traditionally, stories are told verbally through personal narratives. We can also tell stories through our emotions, our thoughts, the way we carry ourselves, and the habits that we frequently find ourselves pulled toward.

I completed my doctorate at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Clinical Psychology. I have had the privilege of supporting individuals across settings in community mental health clinics, inpatient and outpatient hospital programmes, and private practice in the Chicago and the Toronto areas. I am a member of The Ontario Psychological Association and a registered member of The College of Psychologists of Ontario. In therapy, I am committed to providing a safe space for clients to share their experiences, and in turn, understand and transform older stories as clients become more compassionate with themselves.
I have specialized training using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and accredited EMDRIA training in EMDR, in addition to existential, humanistic, somatic-based, and collaborative approaches to mental health, enabling clients to make meaning out of messy emotions and to empower themselves through valued actions. I place emphasis on providing a non-judgemental therapeutic environment with respect for each person’s cultural identity and needs.
