Reena is a very passionate, and dedicated therapist. She thrives at adapting her approach and skills set to your unique circumstances, offering a more tailored approach to ensure your comfort and success. Reena’s therapeutic style and values are derived from growing up in a small town; witnessing limited perspectives and approaches to mental health treatment from a young age, has fueled her drive to offer clients a holistic methodology. Reena obtained her MSW with a specialization in Clinical Counselling from the University of Calgary. She is experienced in medical and mental health settings, working amongst diverse populations in non-profit, private, and health care settings. Reena is versed in trauma informed and evidence-based modalities, such as: EMDR, SFT, CBT, MI, BPS, and MBCT models, and short-term counselling. Reena has facilitated concurrent disorder, and anxiety base groups. She is an active member of EMDR International Association, EMDR Canada, Alberta College of Social Work, and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
