I believe therapy is a place for individuals to learn more about themselves, their feelings, experiences, and fears in a way that is safe and empowering. We all have emotional wounds and self-limiting beliefs from our past that need to be addressed and healed in order to move forward. Attending to the patterns we have developed from these early experiences are an important part of the therapeutic process in order to create meaningful change. My goal with each client is to work together as a team to develop an understanding of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, which can then help the healing process and elicit positive changes.

I approach the therapeutic process as a collaboration between the therapist and client with an emphasis on establishing trust, honesty and openness. My approach is integrative and includes aspects of AEDP, Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory as well as taking a body-centred approach. I also have additional training in AEDP, EFT and inner child work.

Each person has their own story to tell and can benefit greatly from sharing that story in a safe space. My own experience in therapy has provided me with the insight of what it feels like to be on the other side as a client and any fears or anxieties that may come along with it.
