Private Practice for 27 years. Independent, registered SW clinician. Recent years have seen a particular interest and focus in the areas of traumatic events, anxiety disorders, stress impact/recovery; personal empowerment, and addictions treatment. Interest in adult referrals and trauma cases that impact current day functioning. Prefer recent events trauma however will consider referrals via intake process.
There will be times throughout the year, when there is no availability for new referrals. When that is the case, efforts will be made to refer elsewhere.
Primarily work with Adults, individually. Clinic Appt: 10 am to 2:30 pm Office hours: 9:30 am to 4:00pm. May change throughout the year.
Given the Covid environment, I am currently working from my home office and offering services via telephone, and/or virtual telehealth.
When return to the office setting occurs, ample time and space between appointments will occur as per public health regulations. Clients can expect to complete screening questions re. any exposure to Covid symptoms, etc., and to participate in discussion regarding risk management, and informed Consent.
Practice hours have been reduced to part time.
Business/therapy Office is located inside a professional business building. Parking is free; in rear of building. Elizabeth/New Cove Road intersection.
Office space has been described by clients as peaceful, private, warm, and comfortable. It consist of a waiting area and session room. As per Public Health Guidelines, enhanced sanitation practices will occur prior to and following all in office sessions.
Telehealth therapy is expected to continue until further update.
